How can I know if I have a rare disease?
According to the Canadian Organization of Rare Diseases (CORD), 1 in 12 Canadians live with one of over 7000 rare genetic disorders. A number of these disorders can quickly become fatal and/or life altering when individuals are unaware of them. However, genetic analysis can help find these disorders and help people to find a treatment method.
